As we pause in our home renos and decorating, I'm dedicating this week my posts are all things "Mom" related with a few awesome giveaways mixed in.
Next week I'll resume my neurotic decorating sprees!
One thing you don't leave home without after having a baby is a diaper bag. I have your typical black surface wash vinyl diaper bag that you don't feel bad if you drop it in a mud puddle. But then there are fancy occasions where Oscar's stuff still needs to come with me, and the mud puddle bag was screaming "I'm carrying diapers". As a new Mom, I've found it hard to sometimes feel like I'm put together. So accessories that are stunning, help boost the spirits. Enter Petunia Pickle Bottom Bags.
Next week I'll resume my neurotic decorating sprees! Never heard of these bags? Pretty much they are the Rolls-Royce of Diaper Bags. How do I describe these? These are the opposite of my mud puddle bag. The line is called "Cake" by PPB and there are three bag sizes in the line. Big (Cosmopolitan Carryall), Medium (Society Satchel) and Small (Cameo Clutch). I was the lucky recipient of the Medium & Small. :)
The Medium size - The Society satchel, is a size I'd recommend if you were looking for a everyday use, or "going to an event" Diaper Bag. I initially thought it may be too large, but seconds after putting Oscars things in it (along with things for me like my Bebe au Lair Nursing Cover) I realized it was the perfect size. Everything has a place, and I felt organized. The best part - the bottom unzips (see picture) to reveal a hidden area for diapers & wipes. Which is nice that they are hidden, so as you go to find a toy, diapers aren't flying out everywhere.

Instead I had gone with Ju Ju Be, which is gorgeous, but NOT comparable at all to these. They truly don't look like diaper bags at all, and I love the clutch idea too. The website itself is really very nicely designed and a pleasure to navigate - talk about eye candy! I had not realized that PPB made more that lovely diaper bags so I was very pleasantly surprised by the selection of articles. The styles and designs are lovely. It makes it really challenging to pick one diaper bag... I narrowed it down to two: the Society Satchel from the Cake collection - almost any colour really as I think most of them are quite lovely - and the Touring Totes - again, a hard choice with regards to the print...
Allegra5@rogers.com
gah! what an awesome giveaway. that bag is gorgeous!
i am in love with my PPB tea on thames boxy backpack... however, i've always coveted their cake collection... much more sophisticated and beautiful than any bag i've toted. my fave is the juniper berry crumb cake cosmo carryall.

I am curious which blogging and site-building platform you are running?
I'm new to blogging and have been thinking about using the Live journal platform. Do you consider this is a good platform to start with? I would be very thankful if I could ask you some questions through e-mail so I can learn a bit more prior to getting started. When you have some free time, please be sure to get in touch with me at: benitorudolph@yahoo.de. Thanks alot :)

This design is steller! You obviously know how to keep a reader amused.
Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start my own blog (well, almost.
..HaHa!) Great job. I really loved what you had to say, and more than that, how you presented it.
Too cool!

Have you ever thought about adding a little bit more than just your articles?
I mean, what you say is important and everything. However think about if you added
some great images or videos to give your posts more,
"pop"! Your content is excellent but with pics and clips, this blog could certainly be one of the best in its
niche. Wonderful blog!
