My name is Lindsay Stephenson and this is my blog. Between running my shop The Penny Paper Co. that I started in 2004 and running after my three year old son, Oscar - I write about what inspires me, the projects I do for fun, life observations, shopping and everything in between. I have an amazing family - a brother, sister, Mom, husband and son. Really, I find the writen word much more lovely than video, but on occasion I add videos to my blog. I attempted to do an introduction once, and this is what happened. I don't take myself too seriously. :)




I started this blog after we purchased our first home and started renovating. Along the way a handful of people started reading and now I had an amazing support of readers from around the globe. I've been been called "DIY Masters" by Apartment Therapy, I've been given a shoutout by design icon Sarah Richardson, our projects have been making the rounds all around the web.  The blog has been featured in Style at Home Magazine and we're listed as one of the top design bloggers by House and Home Magazine on their website. More recently, Toronto Life recently listed my blog as one of their top 6 home blogs. My art can also be found in retail stores across Canada.  I've been on TV but I won't link you to those experiences because it's terribly embarassing and I much prefer being in pajamas over here.
